Main site Whole9 is starting a Whole30 Challenge on August 1st. A few of our members are joining in, but we thought we should let everyone get through the book It Starts With Food and get in the right place mentally before launching into a box-wide challenge. We believe that the best way to do that is to meet once a week through August and discuss various chapters of the book, and ways to have your kitchen prepared to eat the Whole30 way. Length of the meetings will be open-ended, but will begin with our nutrition pros giving the low-down on a specific section of the book. Then you can leave or stick around for questions and answers. We also plan to discuss cooking strategies to reduce time actually spent in the kitchen. The first meeting will be next week at 6:30pm, the specific day TBA. CrossfitWV's official launch of the Whole30 Challenge will be September 1st.
